1. What do you need to run?
First things first, you should consider what you’re going to be using the computer for. Almost any task is possible on the Ryzen 7 3700X, but some are more taxing than others.
For example, if all of your current programs or games use less than 16GB of RAM then there’s no reason that purchasing anything over 16GB would make a difference in performance either way. (in fact, it might actually even hinder performance)
