This single-phase electric spot welder allows you to easily weld together different types of materials. The simple welding mechanism allows you to quickly insert the materials and press down on the lever to start welding. The durable welding tips are constructed from high-quality steel, which will get the perfect weld for materials that have a thickness between 1/8″ and 3/4″. This spot welder comes with extra pair of welding tips for multiple uses. Simply twist the tips off when they are ready to be replaced and screw on the new ones.

2

The Welder is a new generation of arc welding machines; it adopts the latest IGBT technology and digital inverter control. The MMA welder features high power, efficiency, low noise, and a long life span. It has many advantages over traditional welding machines, such as higher output power, more stable arc force, and less spatter. The MMA welder is widely used in shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, construction machinery manufacturing, etc.

3

The machine is a portable arc welding machine suitable for auto maintenance and repair, construction, shipbuilding, and other industries. It has the advantages of simple structure, high output power, sizeable current capacity, and so on.

4

The DEKOPRO 200Amp MMA Welder, 110/220V Stick Welder Dual Voltage ARC Welders, is a good choice for you. It features over-current protection and overload protection to ensure safety. Excellent Arc stability. Pure copper core cable and Inverter welder reduce the damage of copper and iron. It switches AC to DC then produces the proper voltage and current. The output current is stable, and the power is low, effectively saving electricity. It improves the efficiency of the welding.

5

This is a 125 amp stick welder with hot start and arc force control. It is suitable for beginners; it can weld thin workpieces and easy DIY projects. It’s an ideal performance for most 6010,6011,6013, and 7018 rods. The machine has over current protection, overload protection, temperature control. And it has automatic compensation for voltage fluctuation. You will get a good welding result when using this machine to do some welding jobs.

6

The AUTOOL M508 ARC-200 DC Inverter Welder, 20-160Amp IGBT Welding Machine Kit is a high-power welder that can weld all kinds of metal parts. It has a good performance in welding various metals. It can be used for home and some industrial uses to repair machinery and equipment, such as automobiles, motorcycles, shipbuilding, construction machinery, and other metal processing industries.

7

MIG welding is the most popular welding process. The VIVOHOME MIG Welder 130 can weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal materials. It is easy to operate with just 3 simple steps: connect wire, turn on the power switch and adjust settings. The flux-cored wire automatically releases inert metal gas while welding, which prevents oxidation of the welded part. This feature makes it great for home repairs or hobby projects on light gauge steel.

8

MIG, which stands for Metal Inert Gas, is a welding process in which an inert gas protects the weld pool. The shielding gas forms a layer that prevents the atmosphere from mixing with the molten weld pool. This type of welding uses a continuous wire feed and can be used on all positions. It can also use flux-cored or solid wire electrodes. The main advantage of this process over TIG welding is its speed and ease of use.

5 Things To Consider Before Buying The Best Portable Welders

1. Do you need a dedicated or multi-purpose welder?

If you need to weld on the go, buying multiple welding tools would be expensive. This is where specialized welders come in. For example, if you need both stick and TIG for work purposes while also having MIG at home, buying them separately instead of combined into one machine makes sense. However, if this doesn’t apply to your situation, buying compact multipurpose welders would be better – costing less while saving space (check out my reviews below).

2. What type of metal do you plan on working with?

It’s pretty evident that different metals require different settings to produce results, but did you know that even different metals of the same kind require different settings? (1) An example would be mild steel and stainless steel: both are Iron-based, but even though they’re both “steel,” each requires a different amperage to produce optimal results. If you already know this information, however, skip to number three! For anyone unfamiliar with amperages and such, check out my article on How To Choose The Right Welder for some reading.

3. What amp range do you plan on working in?

This is pretty simple; more amps equals more power equals faster welding speeds(2). That doesn’t mean more amps always means better, mainly when sticking welders. Stick welders work best in the lower regions of their amp range, whereas TIG welders work best in the higher ranges. So if you need to weld thicker metals or need faster welding speeds, you’ll want a welder with more amps; but don’t forget that a more powerful welder also requires more practice to perfect your technique!

4. What voltage do you need?

It just depends on what you’re looking for and how much power you think you’ll need. More voltage means more watts being used, leading to shorter duty cycles and less portability – unless you have an industrial-strength generator! 220v welders tend to be a little more potent than 110v welders, but there are some great portable 110v welders out there.

5. Do you want a push-button, digitally controlled welder?

Price is usually the driving factor here; digital welders tend to be much more expensive than analog ones. Why? Digital welders have more components that could malfunction, so manufacturers price these welders a bit higher because they cost a lot to produce and maintain.  At the same time, however, very few components mean fewer things to go wrong in the long run – resulting in cheaper overall costs(3). Analog welders have simpler circuitry, so there’s also less work done by the generator itself, resulting in longer duty cycles and better portability. In addition, some digital features such as built-in torch ignitors for TIG can’t function without using an external power supply, which most welders don’t have.

3 Benefits Of Portable Welders

1. Portable Welding Is More Economical Than Buying Welding Equipment For Home Use

The upfront cost is less than the cost of a good-quality arc welder. You must purchase a welding helmet, gloves, and other safety gear with an arc welder.

2. Portable Welders Allow You To Work In Tight Spaces

Welders are versatile machines and can be used in various settings, including tight spaces. This is because the welders generate heat which melts metal and joins it together.

3. Portable Welders Are Easy To Use

Many people are intimidated by the prospect of using welding equipment, but portable welders are much easier to use than arc welders. They are also lightweight and easy to transport.
