Intel Capital Leads $10.5M Investment Round for Altia Systems

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 8, 2014 – Series B Funding to Help Altia Systems Expand Customer Base, Accelerate Roadmap. Intel Capital today announced it led a $10.5 million Series B round for Altia Systems, developer of the award-winning PanaCast system for video and web collaboration. Altia Systems developed the PanaCast Experience – which consists of the PanaCast camera, cloud and apps – as an immersive, panoramic HD video and HD audio web collaboration system for today’s anytime, anywhere world of smartphones, tablets and personal computers.

The PanaCast camera works with leading collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Lync*, Cisco WebEx*, Citrix GoToMeeting* and Google Hangouts* with no change or upgrade required. It features touch-enabled controls that allow all participants to see what they want within the whole visual field, in real time and independently of each other.
